You'll never guess what's the skin color of polar bears

The north edge of this world is dominated by polar bears which can live in these cold places. This type of bear has adapted to life in extreme conditions present on the Arctic. But how did it came there?

One theory says that during the last ice age a number of brown bears were left in the middle of the ice. These bears had to adapt the environment that wasn’t much changed until today.
Although polar bears are famous for their white fur, the color of their skin is not white. Actually the skin on polar bears is black.

Their skin is black because it absorbs the heat from the air and the thick hairs don’t permit it to be releases from the body. This is the formula for survival in very cold environments.

The fur of polar bears is white in order to camouflage in the environment. Polar bears adapted to cold temperatures in an ingenious way. They’re called “kings of the Arctic” for a reason.
