Bacteria exist for millions of years and they will exist in
the far future. Human is in contact with millions of bacteria daily, but its
immune system acts against them and keeps the person safe.
There are bacteria which are not dangerous, but some bacteria are deadly for
some organisms, including human.
You should know that no matter how often you clean your
house, you’ll never get rid of all bacteria. Many think that the toilet is the
place with most dangerous bacteria, but not at all. There are places in your
house that have many more dangerous bacteria.
The kitchen sink contains numerous species of dangerous
bacteria such as Echerichia coli and salmonella. These bacteria stay in the
sink after the dishwashing and they are in an environment with nutrients for
them to reproduce very fast.
Then, there’s your toothbrush. The bacteria present on the
toothbrush doesn’t transfer from your mouth, but the toilet. Whenever you flush
water in the toilet, a lot of germs from bacteria and viruses are releasing in
the air. This germs then stick on the toothbrush.
Then, the TV remote control and the computer keyboard have
many dangerous bacteria and viruses on their surface. Studies show that these
devices have five times more germs than the toilet seat. Make sure you wash
your hands before and after using these devices.
Also, some viruses live in salt and pepper shakers.
Finally, money.
Believe or not, the highest amount of germs are present on the surface
of banknotes. Germs love money, too! But, not for the same reason as people.
Namely, they live on the surface of banknotes because they are constantly in
usage and people constantly exchange them, thus touch them.
