Remarkable Animal Species We Discovered In 2014.


Every year scientists around the world are analyzing and researching nature in order to find some new amazing species of organisms.  Every year they discover thousands of different animals. Some are more amazing than the rest, of course. These are the 10 most amazing animals who have been discovered in 2014.
1. Colorful spider
Its Latin name is Maratus pardis and it was found in Western Australia. The scientists gave it the name is because of its flecks, similar to leopard flecks.


2. An Amazonian toupee monkey
Latin name: Pithecia isabela. This primate lives on tree branches. It eats fruits and plays an important role in scattering seed in Amazonia.



3. Peruvian spider mystery.
This specie has been discovered by a volunteer worker in Amazonian forest in Peru. His method of creating the nest is very mysterious and interesting.


4. Cryptic Middle Eastern owl
This specie of owl lives in desert towns in Israel, Egypt and Jordan and was discovered by an ornithologist group from Switzerland. Its Latin name is Strix hadaromi.


5. Atlantic coast leopard frog.
Latin name: Rana kauffeldi. This specie of frog lives in South Carolina and it’s long only about 2-3 inches. It was named after Karl Kauffield, respected scientist.


6. Olinguito
That is carnivorus mammal which lives in the mountains in Columbia and Equador and it is related to raccoon. He is the first carnovorus mammal found in South America in the last 35 years.



7. A spelunking snail
Technichally, the small snail was found towards the end of 2013. The snail is 2 mm tall and it was discovered in cave 914 meters deep in Croatia. Latin name: Zospeum tholussum.


8. Malagasy gecko
This species of gecko is a master of camouflage in the forests of France. Latin name: Paroedura hordiesi.


9. Antarctica has life
This sea anemone lives in the very cold waters of Antarctica and its Latin name is Edwardsiella andrillae.


10. Australian humpback dolphins.

This specie of dolphin lives in the sea waters of Asia and Africa and their Latin name is Sousa sahulensis .
